Tripoli, December 3, 2024 (LANA) - The Deputy of the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi", met today, Tuesday, with a Dutch delegation headed by the Director of the Department of North Africa and the Middle East at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "Qusha Korthals" and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Chargé d'Affaires, Deputy Ambassador of the Netherlands in Tripoli, "Ninke Staal".

The media office of the Council explained that "Al-Lafi" praised during the meeting the joint relations between the two friendly countries, praising the positive role of the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the International Working Group on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, especially in the transitional justice process.

"Korthals" stressed during the meeting her country's keenness to support the Presidential Council in the path of human rights, national reconciliation, and transitional justice as priorities in the country's stability.
