Al-Baour and the Iranian Ambassador to Libya discuss opportunities for cooperation and activating joint committees between the two countries.

Tripoli, December 2, 2024 (LANA) - The person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity, "Taher Al-Baour", discussed today with the Iranian Ambassador to Libya, "Ain Allah Souri", the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to what was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official page, the meeting, which was held at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, discussed opportunities for joint cooperation between the two countries in many fields and ways to support and develop them to serve common interests.
During the meeting, the Iranian ambassador informed his country's Foreign Minister of his desire to visit Libya, stressing Tehran's desire to develop its relations with the State of Libya.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed on the importance of political consultation and working together to organize visits by senior officials from the two countries during the coming period;
As well as activating joint committees and coordination to hold an exhibition for Iranian industries in Libya.
