Tripoli, December 1, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, issued his instructions to the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Civil Status Authority, on the necessity of addressing all the problems facing the displaced people of the eastern region, including disbursing rent allowance grants and extracting civil status documents for families.

Dabaiba stressed during a meeting held today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, the importance of ensuring that the displaced are treated equally in administrative procedures in their current areas of residence, stressing the government's readiness to take any additional decisions that enhance these procedures to ensure a decent life for this category of citizens.

During the meeting, Dabaiba listened to a detailed presentation of the problems facing the displaced people of the eastern region, and the requirements necessary to solve these problems were discussed in coordination with the relevant ministries of state, where he issued his directives to resolve all issues urgently, including adopting annexes to the rent allowance grant, and facilitating the procedures for extracting civil status documents.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister's Advisor for Financial Affairs and Minister of Transport, "Mohammed Al-Shahoubi", Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, "Adel Jumaa", Ministers of Social Affairs, "Wafaa Al-Kilani" and Justice, "Halima Ibrahim", Deputy Head of the Civil Status Authority for National Number Affairs, and representatives of the displaced.
