The Government of National Unity confirms the availability of November and December salary allocations

Tripoli, November 26, 2024 (LANA) - The financial advisor to the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, confirmed on Tuesday the availability of the necessary allocations to pay salaries, including all requirements related to the salaries of entities funded by Chapter Four.

This came during a meeting between the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and Al-Shahoubi, to follow up on the procedures related to the disbursement of citizens' salaries for the months of November and December 2024.

The media office of the Government of National Unity said that Al-Shahoubi reassured the Prime Minister about the provision of the necessary allocations to pay salaries, including all requirements related to the salaries of entities funded by Chapter Four, stressing that this is being done in full coordination with the Central Bank of Libya and the National Oil Corporation, to ensure smooth financial procedures.

According to the media office, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of adhering to the disbursement of salaries on time, stressing that the government is working to meet the needs of citizens and provide financial liquidity to secure all obligations.
