Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice discuss the conditions of Libyan prisoners abroad.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 26 November (Lana)—An expanded meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli, headed by the Director of the Department of Immigration and Expatriates Affairs and the directors of departments of the Ministry of Justice, and discussed the conditions of Libyan prisoners abroad.
The meeting, which was attended by the directors of departments and heads of sections at the Department of Immigration and Expatriates Affairs, discussed the database of the Ministry of Justice that includes the number of cases and rulings issued against them, according to the Facebook page of the Foreign Ministry.
The attendees also reviewed the bilateral and multilateral agreements and memoranda that were concluded in the area of judicial and criminal cooperation and the exchange of prisoners and the context followed to reactivate them.
The participants listened to the Ministry of Justice's vision on how to contribute to organizing the work of unions, associations, and syndicates representing Libyan communities abroad in accordance with the laws.
They also discussed related topics within the framework of the national project plan to support Libyan expatriates abroad, which is scheduled to launch its work in the near future.
