Tripoli, November 24, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dabaiba", discussed today, Sunday, with the Special Envoy of the German Government, "Christian Bock", the latest developments in the political process in Libya, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the meeting addressed a number of important files, including the economic situation, cooperation in the illegal immigration file, and discussed steps to resume air traffic between the two countries in a way that enhances economic relations and direct communication.

According to the office, "Bock" congratulated the Prime Minister on the success of the first phase of the municipal elections, which included 58 municipalities, praising the measures taken by the government to ensure the required security of the elections and achieve transparency and integrity.

In turn, "Dabaiba" stressed the importance of the German role in supporting Libya's stability, stressing the keenness of the Government of National Unity to strengthen bilateral relations and develop international partnerships to serve common interests.
