NOC and Schlumberger organize practical training for collecting data on submersible pumps.

Tripoli 19 November 2024 (Lana) Production Department of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) organized yesterday a workshop at the NOC’s headquarters in Tripoli, in cooperation with Schlumberger, on the use of software for collecting data on submersible pumps used in oil wells.

According to the NOC, the workshop targeted production department engineers with the aim of providing them with practical experience that contributes to increasing production and making the necessary technical decisions.

Representatives of Schlumberger provided practical training on the mechanism of collecting data in preparation for its application in the production departments of the sector's companies, as well as reviewing the latest technical developments in this area.

The workshop was attended by the Director of the Production Department and the Director of the Reserve Development Department at the Corporation, in addition to a number of specialized technicians from the Corporation and their counterparts at Schlumberger.
