The Electoral Commission calls on Libyans to support the municipal elections and continue building the state

Tripoli, November 10, 2024 (LANA) - The High National Elections Commission called on all Libyans in a statement today, Sunday, to abandon the state of surrender and division and proceed with building the state and getting it out of the transitional phase crisis with a distinct Libyan formula to reach stability and prosperity and consolidate national sovereignty.

The Commission stressed that it is striving to strengthen the unity and sovereignty of the country so that the electoral process includes all its territory and its position is embodied in performing its duty towards building a state of law and institutions, supporting it, standing by its side and extending a helping hand to it without hesitation will enable it to contribute to bringing about the desired change.

The Commission called on the media and political elites in particular to be accurate in presenting everything related to the Commission's positions in general and election issues in particular and not to be drawn into false and misleading news and present it as an accepted fact before the Libyan voter.
