Pulbished on:Tripoli, November 3, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dabaiba", discussed today, Sunday, with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, "Shimura Izura", ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the fields of training and the return of Japanese companies to resume their activities in Libya.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the meeting comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
He explained that the meeting discussed the importance of cooperation in the fields of capacity building with the aim of qualifying Libyan cadres and benefiting from pioneering Japanese expertise, and the return of its Japanese companies to resume their activities in the oil sector, which is a basic driver for supporting economic development in the country.
At the end of the meeting, the organization of a Libyan-Japanese business forum in the near future was discussed, to be a platform that brings together the public and private sectors of the two countries, and contributes to developing economic cooperation and strengthening trade relations between Libya and Japan.
