Tripoli, October 29, 2024 (LANA) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced the resumption of flights of the Italian company (ITA Airways) to Libya starting next January.

Meloni said in her speech at the opening of the 30th session of the Libyan-Italian Business Forum that our relations with Libya are historical, and our destiny is one, and Italy considers relations with Libya a priority and has not reached the highest level yet, noting that her government aims to restore some cooperation projects that have been suspended with Libya for a long time, and to discover other areas of cooperation.
