Dabaiba follows up with the Minister of Environment on a number of the ministry’s files and the activation of the Environmental Protection Fund.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, October 28, 2024 (LANAllll) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, followed up today, Monday, with the Minister of Environment, Ibrahim Mounir, a number of the ministry's files, in the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, "Adel Jumaa".
According to the government's media office, the minister presented a position on Libya's participation in international forums on climate change and reducing carbon emissions, and the measures taken in coordination with the relevant Libyan institutions, such as the National Oil Corporation and the General Electricity Company.
During the meeting, the measures taken to activate the Environmental Protection Fund were reviewed, as Dabaiba directed to provide the necessary support to the fund to enable it to perform its tasks efficiently.
