The Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Benghazi visits the headquarters of the Libyan News Agency in the city.
Pulbished on:Benghazi, October 16, 2024 (LANA) - The Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco accredited to the city of Benghazi, Saeed Benkirane, visited today, Wednesday, the headquarters of the General Administration of the Libyan News Agency in the city, and met with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General Ibrahim Hadiya Al-Majbri.
The Director General of the Agency discussed with the Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco, the mechanisms of joint cooperation between the Libyan News Agency and the Maghreb Arab News Agency (MAP).
The Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco extended an invitation to the Libyan News Agency to visit the Moroccan capital, Rabat, in order to sign a bilateral memorandum of understanding between the agencies of the two brotherly countries, which will enhance the fraternal relationship in various aspects of life.
The Consul General was briefed on the progress of the agency's work and its working mechanism, praising the remarkable development in the performance of the agency, which is the Libyan news front accredited by the international community.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Islamic Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Libyan government assigned by the House of Representatives, Mansour Bujnat, in addition to the Director of the Protocol Office at the Ministry's branch in the city of Benghazi, Adel Al-Farsi.
The Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, made an inspection tour of the agency’s departments and affiliated entities.
