The Dutch Ambassador to Libya renews to Al-Sayeh his country's government's support for the efforts to complete the upcoming electoral entitlements.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, October 15, 2024 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, "Imad Al-Sayeh", received today, Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Libya, "Joost Klarenbeek" and his accompanying delegation, at the headquarters of the Board of the Commission.
According to the official page of the Commission, the two sides reviewed during the meeting the future support plans for the Commission, the challenges that may face the electoral process, and the level of its readiness to implement the expected voting process for the 2024 municipal council elections (the first group).
For his part, "Klarenbeek" confirmed the renewal of his country's government's support for the efforts to complete the expected electoral entitlements, praising at the same time the level of readiness of the Commission, and appreciating the efforts it undertook in the stages of the electoral process that have been completed, and its keenness to conduct the elections according to the highest international standards.
