Tripoli, October 14, 2024 (LANA) - The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Khoury, met today in Abu Dhabi with the UAE Minister of State, Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar.

"Khoury" said via her account on "X" that she and the UAE Minister exchanged views during the meeting on the political, security and economic developments in Libya, and the urgent need to create favorable conditions to activate the political process and break the current stalemate.

"Khoury" expressed her gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its continued support for the efforts of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
