Tripoli, October 14, 2024 (LANA) The Minister of Oil and Gas in charge of the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Rajab Abdul Sadiq, discussed today, Monday, with representatives of Huawei, the Solar Energy Day Summit - 2024, which will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, in Tripoli.

The Media and Communication Office of the Ministry of Oil and Gas reported that the meeting also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the local manufacturing of solar panels and the importance of the participation of all concerned parties to improve the use of fossil fuels in Libya and move steadily towards the use of renewable energy.

The office quoted the Minister in charge as confirming the ministry's commitment to strengthening partnerships that will enhance the resilience of the economy and support a sustainable energy future in Libya.
