Tripoli, October 14, 2024 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Commission's Board of Directors, "Imad Al-Sayeh", met today, Monday, at the Commission's headquarters in Tripoli, the Ambassador of the French Republic to Libya, "Mustafa Mahraj" and his accompanying delegation.

The Commission said that this visit comes within the framework of the international community's support for the democratic path in Libya, and to review the level of readiness of the Commission to implement the 2024 municipal council elections and prepare for election day.

According to the Commission's website, the French Ambassador expressed during the meeting his government's appreciation for the Commission's efforts aimed at holding the elections according to the highest standards in force in the world, and reiterating its readiness to provide technical and advisory support, which enhances the readiness of the High National Elections Commission to implement the upcoming entitlements.
