Qatar renews its support for a political solution to the Libyan crisis in accordance with UN resolutions.

Doha, October 13, 2024 (LANA) - Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi met with Acting UNSMIL Chief Stephanie Khoury during her visit to the Qatari capital, Doha.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in Libya and discussed ways to enhance the work of the UNSMIL in order to achieve lasting peace and stability in the country, according to what was published by the Qatar News Agency.
During the meeting, Al-Khulaifi reiterated Qatar's firm position in support of a political solution to the Libyan crisis in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and all peaceful solutions that preserve Libya's unity, stability and sovereignty.
