Tripoli, October 13, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dbeibah", met today, Sunday, with the new German Ambassador to Libya, "Ralph Tarraf", to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The meeting, which was held at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, addressed a number of files, most notably cooperation in the field of alternative energy, and the importance of opening direct air routes between Libya and Germany.

The two sides also discussed the need to facilitate the granting of visas, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and facilitating the movement of individuals between the two countries.

Dbeibah expressed during the meeting his wishes for the ambassador to succeed in his duties, stressing the government's keenness to strengthen relations with Germany in various fields to serve common interests.
