AU’s delegation visits Benghazi.

Benghazi, 7 October 2024 (Lana): The Minister of African Affairs in the Government assigned by the House of Representatives, Issa Mansour, met yesterday with a delegation from the African Union, which visits Libya these days, and included representatives from Congo Brazzaville and Mauritania, in addition to the African Union envoy to the country.
The meeting discussed coordination and necessary preparations for upcoming official visits of the two countries’ presidents, which reflects the depth of bilateral relations between Libya and African countries.
It’s noteworthy that the Mauritanian President—the current Chairman of the African Union—seeks to organize a dialogue for Libyan reconciliation under the auspices of the African Union.
