NOC denies the presence of foreign forces guarding Libyan oil fields.

Tripoli, 6 October 2024 (Lana), National Oil Corporation (NOC) denied recent media reports claiming the presence of foreign forces guarding a number of Libyan oil fields and facilities.
The NOC said in a statement yesterday that it proudly reaffirms that Libyan national security and military safeguarding these critical facilities and represent an essential part of the Libyan people’s resources.
The NOC condemned these false allegations and misleading reports, urging all media institutions, both domestic and international, to verify the accuracy of information before publication to not fall into the suspicion of misleading public opinion and stirring up unrest.
