Al-Manfi discusses with Dbeibah developments in the political, economic and security situations in Libya.

Tripoli, October 3, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi", discussed today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Council, with the Head of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dbeibah", the developments of the political, economic and security situations in the country.

According to the media office of the President of the Council, the meeting dealt with the steps taken and assigned to the Central Bank of Libya within the framework of addressing all unilateral decisions and the necessity of restoring the bank to its technical role away from political conflicts, and working in the spirit of one team through a unified board of directors of experienced and competent people.

According to the office, it was agreed during the meeting on the necessity of setting the necessary controls that contribute to controlling public spending and working to improve the conditions of citizens in all aspects of life and focusing on the development and reconstruction program in all parts of Libya by agreeing on a unified budget.

It was also agreed to activate the Referendum and National Inquiry Commission to ensure governance and rationality and ensure the people's interaction with political and economic decisions.
