Dbeibah discusses with Bengdara plan to increase Libyan oil production.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, October 3, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, discussed today, Thursday, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bengdara, the approved development plan for the corporation, and the plan to increase Libyan oil production.
During the meeting, Bengdara provided a comprehensive explanation to the Prime Minister about the executive steps taken by the corporation to raise production rates, ensuring the enhancement of state resources and the development of the sector's infrastructure.
The meeting, according to our government platform, addressed the effects of international crises and fluctuations in oil prices on the Libyan economy, as Bengdara explained that the corporation is working to ensure stability.
Dbeibah stressed during the meeting the importance of accelerating the implementation of strategic plans to support the oil sector as one of the pillars of the national economy.
He pointed out the need to coordinate with international bodies to enhance investments and achieve maximum benefit from natural resources, in a way that serves the wheel of the national economy and achieves the interest of the citizen.
