Washington 19 September 2024 (Lana) The U.S. Embassy in Libya said on its X, “Yesterday, the Department of State and USAID regional experts on Libya were pleased to meet in Washington, D.C., with Engineer Belgassem Haftar at his request.”

“Along with our colleagues in Washington, the U.S. Embassy to Libya will continue to engage stakeholders throughout all parts of Libya with the goal of promoting stability, assisting with reconstruction, and advancing prosperity,” it added.
