Tripoli, September 5, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi", participated this morning, Thursday, in the capital, Beijing, in the opening of the summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), in the presence of the President of the People's Republic of China, "Xi Jinping", and a large number of African leaders.
The forum is considered an institutional framework for economic cooperation, as it was established by a joint initiative from China and African countries, with the aim of deepening cooperation to achieve economic development and confront the challenges of globalization. This forum dedicates its work to enhancing cooperation and strategic partnership between China and African countries, including Libya.
