Beijing, September 3, 2024 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Taher Al-Baour", discussed in the Chinese capital, Beijing, today, Tuesday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sierra Leone, "Kaba Musa Al-Hajji", ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries on the sidelines of the Ninth China-Africa Cooperation Forum.

The media office of the ministry stated that the meeting discussed continuing coordination and political consultations in light of Sierra Leone's presidency of the next Security Council meeting as a non-permanent member.

He explained that in the same context, it was emphasized to support international efforts aimed at enhancing stability, and to emphasize the parties' commitment to the Libyan agreements that were concluded under the auspices of the United Nations and to respect the relevant Security Council resolutions related to the ceasefire.
