Benghazi, August 29, 2024 (LANA) - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, welcomed the "convening of the State Council" and its election of the presidency body represented by the first and second deputies.

"Aguila" confirmed in a post via the media office of the House of Representatives on "Facebook" on Wednesday evening that "the convening of the State Council will lead to upholding the interest of the country through consensus with the House of Representatives," calling on the President of the State Council, "Khaled Al-Mishri" to reach rapprochements and agreements with the House of Representatives that will lead to resolving the Libyan crisis and reaching the electoral entitlement and stabilizing the country.
