Delegation from the African Union Commission visits the University of Benghazi.

Benghazi, 13 August 2024 (Lana) A delegation from the African Union Commission, headed by the Director of the Office of the President of the Commission, Mohamed Al-Hassan, visited the University of Benghazi yesterday.

During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the Head of the University, Eiz al-Din al-Darsi, in the presence of a number of faculty members, focusing on discussing ways of scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Benghazi and African universities.

During the meeting, Al-Darsi reviewed the history of the University of Benghazi as the most prestigious institution of higher education in Libya and expressed his full welcome for strengthening the ties of cooperation with African universities.
