Benghazi, 13 August 2024 (Lana), Head of the Women and Children’s Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives (HoR), Intisar Shanib, discussed with the political official at the US Embassy in Libya, Patrick Collins, ways to support and empower women in various areas.
During the meeting held yesterday between them at the headquarters of the HoR in Benghazi, the two sides also discussed efforts to enhance Libyan women’s role in the development and political process in the country.
