Egyptian Foreign Minister: Libya's security, stability, unity and integrity are an integral part of Egypt's national security.

Tripoli, July 30, 2024 (LANA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs "Badr Abdel Aati" stressed that the security, stability, unity and safety of Libya is an integral part of Egyptian national security.

This came during his meeting yesterday, Monday, with the Libya Department at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry. The meeting discussed developments in the situation in Libya and efforts aimed at helping Libyans achieve sustainable stability in a way that preserves the unity and safety of Libya, as well as the course of relations between the two countries, and the conditions of the Egyptian community.

According to a statement by the ministry on its Facebook page, the minister listened to an assessment of the comprehensive position of those in charge of the Libya file at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where "Abdel Aati" also stressed the need to pay special attention to the situation in Libya as it is a neighboring country to Egypt, and it and the Libyan people have a special and historical relationship with the Egyptian people.
