Dabaiba meets a delegation from the Republic of Niger.

Tripoli, July 18, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, met on Wednesday evening with a delegation from the Republic of Niger, including a member of the National Council for the Defense of the Homeland, Colonel Abdul Rahman Amadou, and the Chief of Staff of the National Council, Colonel Ebro Amadou Basharu, on the sidelines of the Trans-Mediterranean Migration Forum, hosted in the capital, Tripoli.

 According to a publication issued by the Government of National Unity, Amadou conveyed to Dabaiba a message from Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in which he stressed the depth of relations between the two countries, and his praise of the efforts made by the Government of National Unity in the irregular migration file and its endeavor to build a cooperation framework between the relevant parties in the file.

During the meeting, the two parties also discussed a number of files of common interest, and ways to enhance cooperation in the interest of the Libyan and Nigerian peoples.
