Tripoli, 16 July 2024 (Lana) The preliminary meeting of the committee charged with holding the “Libyan-Saudi” economic forum was held yesterday in Tripoli.

According to the communication office of the General Board of Fairs, during the meeting, the efforts of the commercial attaché at the Libyan embassy in Riyadh, Nabil Al-Ajili, were commended, which contributed to actually setting up the necessary preparations to hold the forum and the fair.

During the meeting, a presentation of the steps taken to hold the forum was presented by the Head of the General Board of Fair, Issam Al-Aoul, and the technical team accompanying him.

The attendees discussed the necessary preparations with the relevant authorities from the Federation of Chambers, Chambers of Commerce, the Businessmen Council, the relevant ministries, and all institutions concerned with Libyan exports and investment.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Privatization Affairs, Abdulaziz Al-Shawish, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan International Development and Investment Holding Company, Salah El-Din Betro, the Director General of the Insurance Supervisory Authority, Ahmed Al-Deeb, and the Commercial Attaché at the Libyan Embassy in Riyadh, Nabil Al-Ajili.
