NOC: Operating a new oil line from Hamada field to Mellitah oil port.

Tripoli, July 11, 2024 (LANA) - The National Oil Corporation announced the operation of the new pipeline from the North Hamada oil field to the Mellitah oil port, a distance of 250 kilometers.
The corporation explained that the process of pumping crude oil began from the main tanks to the receiving point at the end of the line in a regular and safe manner, noting that the operation process that began last Monday will contribute to raising the field’s production, this is part of the first phase of the field development program.
The corporation pointed out that the field will gradually increase its production, bringing production to 8,000 barrels per day before mid-July, then reaching 10,000 barrels per day next August.
