Al-Dbaiba directs all relevant parties to evaluate the fuel distribution system.

Tripoli, July 10, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Al-Dbaiba, directed the formation of a technical committee from all relevant parties to evaluate the fuel distribution system and prevent its smuggling.

 This came during his participation, along with the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, and a number of government ministers, on Tuesday evening in the workshop dedicated to the experimental launch of the fuel distribution system and preventing its smuggling, prepared by researcher Muhammad Amer, with the participation of Al Namaa Oil Investments Company and Al Brega Oil Marketing Company.

 According to the media office of the Prime Minister, today, Wednesday, the researcher presented a presentation about the system and the field study he conducted on a number of stations in the municipality of Sabha.

In his intervention, Al-Dbaiba stressed his keenness to participate in the contributions of Libyan youth to societal issues, noting the importance of this system in light of the government’s efforts to regulate the distribution of fuel and combat smuggling of all kinds, directing that the system include all entities that benefit from fuel, including the General Electricity Company, with the aim of controlling its needs.
