Al-Dbaiba stresses the importance of urban planning in development and stability.

 Tripoli - July 09, 2024 - (LANA) - Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbaiba, held a meeting in the Cabinet Office to follow up and evaluate the plan of the Urban Planning Department, in the presence of the Minister of Housing and Construction, Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi, and the chairmen and members of the two boards of directors of the Urban Planning Department, the State Property Authority, the Director of the Real Estate Registration Authority, and the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Housing and Justice.

The media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government said, that “Dbaiba” stressed the importance of urban planning in development and stability, explaining that there will be no local and sustainable development without approved urban plans at all levels.

The office explained that the head of the Urban Planning Department presented a position on the proposed plan for the year 2024, at both the immediate and future levels, stressing the Board of Directors’ determination to address the delay in approving plans according to a scientific and practical vision that contributes to development.

He added that the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government directed the need for cooperation between the Urban Planning Department and the Land Registry and State Property Departments, and to develop a work plan that contributes to the preparation of approved plans, and to activate the Land Registry to be a legal support for urban planning procedures.
