Rabat, July 9, 2024 (Lana): Deputy Special Representative for Political Affairs, Acting Head of the UNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, met yesterday in Rabat with the Moroccan Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita.

The UNSMIL stated on its official website that Koury and Bourita discussed ways to advance Libya's political process towards elections and emphasized the crucial role of regional actors in supporting UNSMIL efforts.

"I commended Morocco's past facilitation of Libyan agreements," Koury said.
