Pulbished on:Tripoli, July 06, 2024 (LANA) - America renewed its commitment to increasing security cooperation with professional military officers throughout Libya to support the unification of the army and help Libyans protect their sovereignty.
This came in a tweet published by the Charge d'Affairs of the US Embassy to Libya, "Jimmy Brent", after his meeting with the military attaché at the embassy, Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General "Mohammed Al-Haddad", his assistant, "Al-Nimroush", the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Major General "Qujil", and the Director of the Military Intelligence Department, Brigadier General "Mahmoud Hamza" in Tripoli.
“Brent” added in his tweet, which the embassy published on its website on the X platform, Friday evening, saying, “The meeting also discussed opportunities to expand professional military education programs for officers from all over Libya, cooperation in the field of capacity development, and enhancing information exchange to continue making tangible progress in the security partnership between the United States and Libya.”
