Sirt, July 4, 2024 (LANA) - The Libyan Red Crescent Society in Sirt announced yesterday, Wednesday, the recovery of a number of decomposed bodies in the Giza Bahriya neighborhood, as a result of the war that took place in 2016, in which the Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous forces were able to liberate the city from the terrorist organization ISIS.
The association’s sources told the Libyan News Agency’s correspondent in Sirt, that the assigned team received information about the presence of a number of bodies in the destroyed area and they were recovered, noting that during the removal operations of the destroyed homes, explosive belts and mines were found, which the military engineering team dealt with.
