Al-Sayeh receives the Chargé d'Affaires of the American Embassy in Libya.

Tripoli, July 2, 2024 (LANA) The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, “Imad Al-Sayeh,” received today, Tuesday, the Chargé d’Affairs of the American Embassy in Libya, “Jeremy Brent,” and his accompanying delegation at the Office of the High National Elections Commission in Tripoli.
The two sides reviewed the positions of the political parties regarding the electoral process in general and the municipal council elections in particular, and the impact these positions have on the possibility of their implementation, chances of success, and procedures related to preparing for them.
Brent praised the efforts made by the Commission and those in charge of it to provide ideal conditions for holding free and credible elections that express the will of Libyan men and women and their aspirations for a stable democratic state.
