Tripoli - July 2, 2024 - (LANA) - The First Deputy Chairman of the High Council of State, Dr. Masoud Obaid, accompanied by Council member Dr. Abdul Qader Hawaili, met today, Tuesday, with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Dr. Imad Al-Sayeh, at the Commission’s office. In Tripoli.

The media office of the High Council of State said that this meeting comes within the framework of reviewing the Commission’s readiness to implement the municipal council elections currently being worked on, and the difficulties and challenges it faces practically and technically with regard to the measures taken towards their implementation.

He added that the First Vice President of the Council appreciated the efforts made by the Commission aimed at completing the municipal council elections.
