Al-Dabaiba meets with notables, executive sector officials, and members of the Zuwara Municipal Council.

Zuwara, July 1, 2024 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, discussed with notables, officials of the executive sectors and members of the Zuwara Municipal Council the difficulties and problems facing citizens, in the presence of the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister, who arrived in the city today, Monday.

Al-Dabaiba is accompanied on this visit, according to the Prime Minister’s Media Office, by the Minister of Transportation, Muhammad Al-Shahoubi, and the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Jumaa, in addition to the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Justice and Marine Resources, and the Director-General of the Administrative Centers Development Authority.

Upon his arrival, Dabaiba was received by visitors, according to the media office, by the Minister of Local Government, Badr al-Din al-Toumi, the president and members of the municipal council, and members of the city’s Council of Notables and Elders.

During the meeting, a number of service files were discussed, and the difficulties and problems facing citizens in the city were discussed, the most important of which was the problem of low voltage in the public electricity network, the provision of drinking water, and the completion of final works at Zuwara Hospital, in addition to discussing the security conditions in the West Coast regions.

Al-Dabaiba directed, according to the media office, the necessity of continuous follow-up of the projects of the General Electricity Company, the Man-Made River Authority, and the General Desalination Company, and the necessity of completing them according to the approved timetables.

The notables stressed the need to organize work at all sea and land ports, the most important of which is the Ras Jedir border crossing, and for state agencies to supervise and operate it and nominate qualified and trained personnel to work at it, to facilitate service for travelers and eliminate the suffering that Libyans have experienced in the past years.
