Qadirbuh and Al-Qaib discuss a number of files related to the higher education sector.

Tripoli - June 30, 2024 - (LANA) - The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, “Abdullah Qadirbuh,” held a meeting at the Authority’s headquarters today, Sunday, with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Government of National Unity, “Imran Al-Qaib,” to discuss a number of files related to the sector, such as salaries and vacations, academic scholarships, scholarships for delegates, and the issue of facilitating procedures with the Central Bank of Libya.

The Administrative Oversight Authority stated that the meeting discussed the latest developments in measures related to protecting the right to education, and dealing with the delegation case file for study. The outcomes of the committee charged with developing a plan for organizing the delegation movement were discussed, and the financial and organizational aspects related to it were discussed, and the proposed timetable for its implementation, in addition to a follow-up mechanism, its implementation, and the extent to which it takes into account the candidates’ fulfillment of the conditions and controls of delegation.

It was added that the head of the authority confirmed his support for the faculty members in obtaining their full financial dues for the external part of the academic leave, stressing that the full academic leave dues will be paid to everyone.
