Libya to host an Arab conference to discuss the volunteer work strategy.

Tripoli, June 30, 2024 (Lana): Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kelani, affirmed that the Government of National Unity attaches great importance to supporting groups under the ministry, especially those with disabilities in Libya.

This came during her participation in the meeting of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs in Rabat, according to the Ministry's Facebook page.

Al-Kelani invited the Arab ministers to the high-level Arab event organized by the ministry in cooperation with the League of Arab States next July in Libya.

According to the ministry, the Arab event will discuss the Arab strategy for volunteer work and support the rights of persons with disabilities in epidemics and crises, which came among the Arab plans approved by the Arab Summit within the Second Arab Decade for Persons with Disabilities and their role in supporting the social care economy.
