The Annual International Conference of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery kicks-off in Benghazi.

Benghazi, June 29, 2024 (LANA) - The activities of the annual international conference of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the University of Benghazi were kicked-off today, Saturday, under the slogan “Achieving scientific integration between dentistry and other specialties.”

The conference aims to provide a platform for exchanging scientific and professional experiences between dentists from different countries, developing scientific cooperation between Libyan and international universities, discussing the latest developments in the field of dentistry, in addition to providing solutions to the challenges facing dentists in Libya.

The head of the preparatory committee, Siraj Najm, told the Libyan newspaper Al-Anbaa, that the general program of the conference includes scientific paper sessions in addition to lectures and workshops in dental techniques.

Najm pointed out that the aim of this scientific forum is to exchange experiences and knowledge, and to keep up with what is new in the field of dentistry and its connection with other specialties related to citizen health.

It is noteworthy that the conference was held with the participation of experts from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Kuwait and most Libyan cities, and 40 scientific papers from various specializations in the field of dentistry will be discussed.
