Discussions of preparing National Food Security Strategy.

Tripoli, June 29, 2024 (LANA) - The national technical team for preparing the National Food Security Strategy held a meeting today, Saturday, at the headquarters of the National Council for Economic and Social Development to discuss the final draft of the strategy, in the presence of representatives from the sectors of agriculture, animal health, and the Council for Economic and Social Development.
The Director of the General Department of Environmental Sanitation Affairs in the local government, called on the attendees to prepare a paper on the role assigned to each sector in implementing the food security strategy under the framework of institutional integration in order to achieve the effective role of the sectors in the food security strategy in Libya.
