The United States fully supports Libyan-led solutions to unify the Libyan army.

Gaborone - June 28, 2024 (LANA) - The US Embassy in Libya announced today, Friday, that the Commander of the US Military Command in Africa, General "Langley" and the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General "Brown" met with Lieutenant General "Al Haddad" and Lieutenant General "Al Nadori", at the 2024 African Chiefs of Defense Conference in Gaborone, Botswana.
The embassy said, that the United States fully supports Libyan-led solutions to unify the Libyan army, and ensure Libyan sovereignty, adding, “We reaffirm our commitment to strengthening security cooperation between the United States and Libya in cooperation with professional Libyan military officers in all regions to build a stable and unified Libya for the Libyan people.”
