Tripoli, June 26, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of Housing and Construction in the National Unity Government, Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi, discussed with a delegation of Chinese companies cooperation in the contracting and infrastructure sector, and consolidating investment relations between the two countries.

 According to a post on the ministry’s Facebook page today, Wednesday, the meeting also discussed the possibility of signing joint bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding in areas of common interest.

 For their part, Chinese companies expressed their willingness to contribute to infrastructure projects and investment in Libya, stressing the importance of benefiting from the opportunities and privileges that Libya enjoys geographically, regionally and economically.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties agreed to coordinate to conclude bilateral cooperation agreements, aiming to open horizons of cooperation between the Libyan and Chinese private sectors.
