Tripoli, June 23, 2024 (LANA) - The person in charge of managing the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Al-Taher Al-Baour,” discussed today, Sunday in Tripoli, with the American special envoy, Ambassador Richard Norland, the importance of restoring momentum to the political process led by the United Nations.

 Ambassador Norland said in a tweet published by the US Embassy on its website on X: “Charge d’Affaires Jeremy Brent and I had a wonderful conversation today with Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour, during which we discussed the importance of restoring momentum to the political process led by the United Nations.” In addition to our joint commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation on issues affecting Libya and the region.
