Tripoli, June 20, 2024 (LANA) - The Traffic and Licensing Affairs Department of the Ministry of Interior has alerted Libyan citizens intending to Tunisia of some laws and legislation approved years ago, before they enter Tunisian territory.
The warnings came coinciding with the official reopening of the Ras Jedir border crossing next Monday for groups allowed to drive vehicles inside Tunisian territory if the vehicle is not in the driver’s name.
One of the caveats is that it is permissible for the car owner’s wife and children to drive it without power of attorney if the car owner is present in Tunisia.
