Tripoli, June 11, 2024 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation welcomed, in a statement today, Tuesday, Resolution No. (2735) issued by the United Nations Security Council, which stipulates a permanent ceasefire, complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, prisoner exchange, reconstruction, and the return of the displaced. the entering of necessary aid, and rejecting any demographic change or reducing the area in the Gaza Strip.

 In its statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Libya's firm position on the necessity of adhering to international laws and the importance of the UN Security Council fulfilling its responsibilities towards maintaining international peace and security.
