The arrival of (27) Libyan children with autism spectrum disorder after a therapeutic trip in Jordan.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, June 10, 2024 (LANA) - A team from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity arrived at Mitiga International Airport in the capital, Tripoli, on Monday, accompanied by twenty-seven Libyan children on the autism spectrum, returning from a treatment trip at the Jordanian Academy for Autism.
The Ministry's media office explained that Libyan children on the autism spectrum will continue their rehabilitation programs in the autism centers that were recently established and equipped as part of the National Unity Government's strategy to localize treatment inside.
The office indicated that the specialized committees assigned by the Ministry have taken, during the last period, a series of measures to equip several autism centers, including the National Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Autistic Children in Tripoli, which was established and equipped according to international standards to receive autistic children abroad and at home.
